As a registered umbrella body, Brass Bands England will endeavour to process DBS check applications quickly and without any fuss for bands.
This service is free of charge to member bands, and a small administration charge will be made for applications received from non-member bands and other organisations.
It is very important that all bands use the DBS. We advise you to take a look at the procedures you have in place to see if they are up to date.
We advise that any members who work directly with young people agree to a DBS check. If you apply for some grants or apply for charitable status you will need to have your DBS checks in place.
